The Clover Project has finally stepped into the Android 16 era — and we are among the first testers to get our hands on the brand-new Clover Project v3.4 for Mi 11X / Poco F3 (Alioth). This build is not public yet, but after direct conversation and testing with the developer, we can confirm that Clover’s first Android 16 QPR1 release is shaping up to be one of the most polished early builds ever released for this device.
This article includes exclusive testing details, developer notes, performance observations, and the official download link shared directly by the developer.

What Makes Clover Project v3.4 Special?
Clover ROM has always been known for its clean UI, smooth performance, and stable feature set.
But v3.4 marks a huge milestone:
✔ First Official Build Based on Android 16 QPR1
This is the latest platform release from Google with improved performance, adaptive rendering, and better background process optimization.
✔ Exclusive Early Release (Not Public Yet)
The build was privately shared for testing before its global rollout.
✔ Built-in MemeCamera
The developer confirmed he intentionally kept the MemeCamera because of:
- Ultra-fast QR code scanning
- Lightweight UI
- Simple, reliable shooting experience
It’s rare to see a dev choosing a camera for functionality over hype — but Clover always prioritizes practicality.
Developer Conversation Highlights (Exclusive)
The dev confirmed:
- The build is booting successfully
- No critical crash loops
- A temporary freezing/hang of wallpaper & settings was observed but fixed after a reboot
- Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, UI transitions, and app launching worked normally after reboot
- Developer will attempt to reproduce the freeze to check logs
- You (the tester) helped provide logcat instructions for debugging
This shows that the build is in active developer debugging, not yet final — but already functional.
Early Testing Experience (Our Review)
✔ Booted Successfully
The ROM booted without issues within the expected time frame.
✔ UI Smoothness
After initial boot:
- Home screen transitions smooth
- App drawer smooth
- Lock screen animations good
✔ Temporary Lag Bug
At one point, the tester experienced:
- Wallpaper stuck
- Settings page hanging
- Navigation unresponsive
But on reboot:
- The issue disappeared
- Device performance normalized
This suggests it was likely a first-boot dex optimization lag, not a major bug.
✔ No Major Blockers
After the reboot:
- ROM did not lag
- No freezes
- No repeated issues
This is excellent for a first QPR1 build.
