Introduction to FakeDreamer Kernel
The FakeDreamer Kernel v1.2 is a cutting-edge, performance-driven kernel designed for Android devices running versions 11 through 15. - Implemented a custom uname override (4.19.157-perf+ for gms).
- Debloated some unnecessary drivers and config.
- Made small changes to the audio and display driver.
- Reintroduced TEO.
- Added back the 150 MHz GPU frequency.
- Improved console performance, scheduler efficiency, and IRQ/thread placement.
- Optimized KGSL: disabled throttling, fixed race conditions, improved scheduling.
- Increased GPU processing limit and storage request size.
- Enhanced CPU power management, faster scaling, and early governor registration.
- Improved wakelock handling and thermal management (better tracking, efficiency).
- Added tri-cluster API for cpu efficiency.
- Updated jitterentropy, security patches, and upstreamed WireGuard.
- Fixed Roblox crashes, reverted potential kernel panic commits.
Note
- Delete folder data/adb if you previously used KernelSU
- Because of this reason here!, use stk variant if you’re using stock alioth battery and use j3s variant if you’re using 5k mAh battery
- AOSP and MIUI Supported (add -MIUI on the file name)
- KSU Next, KSU Next with SUSFS and noKSU variant available
- Use latest KernelSU-Next Manager here!
- Use latest SUSFS module from sidex15 here!
- Recommended to use task-profiles module here!
